A young girl has suffered severe leg injuries following an incident at Flipout Rochdale.

An eight year old girl has been taken to hospital by ambulance after sustaining a serious leg injury.


An eight year old girl who has not been named has been taken to hospital by ambulance today (Friday 9th August) after she sustained a leg injury at a Sports complex in Rochdale. Paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) were called to FlipOut in Rochdale at approximately 2:27PM in response to reports of a leg injury. Additionally, the air ambulance was dispatched to the location as a precautionary measure. It is believed that the young girl was playing on the trampoline when an older male landed on top of her, resulting in serious injuries to her leg. An eyewitness reported seeing the young girl lying on the floor, appearing pale, with a bone protruding from her leg.

Manchester Today spoke to Imran the manager for Flipout Rochdale who was smiling and making jokes when being asked questions but declined to comment on the inccident. A spokesperson for North West Ambulance service said "We were called at 14.27. A girl was taken to hospital with a leg injury.
