An Accelerated Misconduct Hearing involving a Greater Manchester Police officer will be held on Monday 29th July 2024.

PC 16976 Kamran Hussain will respond to accusations that his behavior constitutes a violation of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for Discreditable Conduct; and Honesty and Integrity as outlined in the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020

The Accelerated Misconduct Hearing is scheduled to occur at Unit A, Central Park, Northampton Road, Manchester, M40 5BP.

PC 16976 Kamran Hussain is set to respond to accusations that his behavior constitutes a violation of the Standards of Professional Behaviour for Discreditable Conduct, as well as Honesty and Integrity as outlined in the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020. This comes after being convicted of using a vehicle on a road equipped with a blue warning beacon or a similar special warning device, and failing to report this to the authorities. Consequently, he was added to the police barred list by West Yorkshire Police due to his actions while serving as a special constable. Those interested in attending the Accelerated Misconduct Hearing must sign up in advance.

In order to control the attendance at the hearing, the total number of participants will be limited to 12.

Members of the press or public who want to attend the hearing must register in advance through the GMP website, providing their contact telephone number and email address. Individuals who have not registered in advance will not be permitted to enter the hearing.
