Paramedics and forensic experts were at Middleton Shopping Centre where the incident occurred. According to reports, the incident took place in the shopping centre's toilets. It was indicated that the man was stabbed, although this information has not been verified.

Greater Manchester Police said the man was rushed to hospital from the scene with 'life-threatening injuries'. No arrests have been made.

Investigations into the incident are currently underway. Emergency services were reportedly present throughout the shopping center yesterday afternoon, including police, paramedics, and forensic officers at the scene.

The shopping center subsequently reported that the toilets were 'out of service' for the duration of the evening, although it remains uncertain if this was related.

Another individual shared: "I happened to be passing by when a second ambulance arrived with sirens blaring, and paramedics quickly took him out on a stretcher. It's a frightening world we are currently living in."
