A tenant of Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) has voiced his discontent over the way he was treated by an RBH staff member. He had arranged for a repair to address the issue with his kitchen tap, which was not allowing water to flow smoothly, forcing him to repeatedly shake and bang the taps to get water running.

Two RBH employees visited the tenants' property in Middleton on Friday, 3rd November, to address the issue. When the tenant opened the door, they encountered individuals who were aggressive and unprofessional. Upon requesting to see their IDs, one of the employees indicated the RBH logo on his jumper. The tenant requested the employee to present a photo ID, which the employee mentioned was in the van. The tenant then asked the employee to fetch it. At this point, the employee's tone and behavior turned aggressive as he informed the tenant that he was not obligated to retrieve his ID.
