The annual Lee Rigby Fundraising event will be held in Middleton on the 25th of August at the Alkerington Market
The event, which will also feature a market with more than 30 stalls offering items such as candles, books, baked goods, and more. The Alkrington Village market is giving attendees the opportunity to win fantastic prizes through their tombola, including a signed Manchester United picture, a £90 Lego gift, Coronation Street merchandise, JW Lees Pack, toys and more amazing prizes up for grabs. They are also providing complimentary crafting activities for children, as well as serving hot and cold drinks and hot food. The event, scheduled for Sunday, August 25th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, aims to raise funds for a charity named after a local hero who tragically lost his life in 2013 after being attacked on his way back to his barracks in London in May of that year.
The Lee Rigby Foundation, established to offer a support system for bereaved military families, veterans' families, and active military families, also aims to be inclusive of recent terrorist incidents. The Alkrington Village Craft Market, M24 1TR
